At Number 6 we believe exercise is the most powerful tool; for individuals, for communities, for companies. It’s a prerequisite for good health throughout your life. We don’t do quick fixes, we go for long term results, creating sustainable habits and choices along the way.

Everyone is welcome to train at Number 6 whatever your age, goal or fitness ability. All you need is a smile and a willingness to try your best.
We have the very best coaches – enthusiastic, experienced and approachable. They’re an inspirational bunch and we are proud of their energy and commitment. Head to the team section to find out a bit more about each of them and how they can help you.
We offer the latest functional training equipment based around free weight resistance training. Your sessions will be tailored to you, and no weight training experience is necessary – we will teach you everything you need to know! We offer a safe environment with no judging, no ego’s and no pressures. We like to stretch and mobilise, so you can expect some of this too. Our sessions have a real focus on good form and proper technique and will leave you feeling invigorated and ready for whatever life throws at you!
As well as individual sessions, Number 6 can accommodate small group training of up to 3 people with one coach – great for colleagues who want to exercise together, or those wanting to share coaching session with a friend or partner.
You will find us in the elegant Manor House at Winslade Park. We are available via appointment only and our studio is socially distanced by design; with individual training zones for your sole use throughout your coaching session, offering the perfect antidote to Covid-19 in a safe and controlled way. We have scrupulous hygiene measures and plenty of space and equipment for every client – we limit our capacity to keep it this way.
If you prefer to train outdoors, we are fortunate to have access to acres of beautiful parkland onsite and a designated outdoor coaching area.
You are welcome to use our stylish changing rooms, onsite parking and relaxed lounge area which offers carefully selected wellbeing products alongside delicious and nutritious refuel items.
