Echoes Childcare is an Exeter-based early years care provider, offering highly professional, flexible, engaging childcare for families across the city. They currently have two nurseries, one in Broadclyst and the other right here at the coveted Winslade Park. Let’s shine this month’s community spotlight on the amazing Echoes team and learn a little more about what makes them great!
THE MOST FLEXIBLE CHILDCARE IN EXETER
One of the most standout aspects of Echoes Childcare is their extended opening hours, offering efficient wraparound care for working parents. Open from 07:00 to 18:30, 51 weeks of the year, parents can rest easy that their little ones have supervision until they are off work. Echoes Childcare aim to remain flexible when changes or extra sessions are needed, to accommodate a good work life balance.

ECHOES CHILDCARE AND WINSLADE PARK
Echoes arrived at Winslade Park in 2022. Following the success of their Broadclyst nursery, founded in 2014, they were looking for the right area for expansion. Winslade Park offered a great solution enabling them to take children from Clyst St Mary, Topsham, Sidmouth, Exmouth and beyond. The nursery has gone from strength to strength, and they are currently at capacity, with many spaces occupied by parents who work right here on the park. Kai Horstmann, Winslade Park Group Sales and Relationships Director, said:
“Both Echoes and Winslade Park have a shared ethos surrounding work life balance, which has made them such a great fit. The new forest school is a lovely new addition for both the nursery and the park. We love having them as a part of our community.”
A WORD FROM OLIVIA SPRY, NURSERY MANAGER AT WINSLADE PARK
“We love having our nursery here at Winslade Park, it has an outstanding outdoor environment which gives the children so much space to explore. They are often out on adventures, exploring nature and searching for wildlife, which we see so much of. It is just amazing to have this on our doorstep and it enables us to enrich and unlock our children’s learning and development to its full potential. It is a wonderful community to be a part of, everyone is so friendly and accommodating, from the estates team to the hospitality side and everyone in between.
We feel very lucky to be a part of the Winslade Park community, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for us. It will start with the opening of our new Forest School (Woodpecker Woods at Winslade Park) at the end of January, followed by expanding our current outdoor facilities and creating new children’s menus. This is just the beginning, and I am sure we will have lots of other exciting things along the way!”
