Tucked away just beyond the cricket pitch and within easy walking distance from Winslade Manor, the Playing Fields offer a flexible, natural setting for outdoor activities. Surrounded by mature trees and manicured hedgerows, the two large, level grass pitches provide a peaceful and private environment for tenants and their guests to enjoy active experiences or relaxed social time. These spaces are perfect for corporate away-days, community games, or simply a breath of fresh air in the Devon countryside.

Terms and Conditions

The Playing Fields at Winslade Park are available for use by tenant businesses and approved groups for informal sports, team-building activities, and social events. The space is intended for temporary, low-impact use, and is not suitable for events requiring fixed structures, large-scale installations, or vehicular access. Temporary shelter, such as gazebos or umbrellas, may be used to provide protection from sun or weather, but must not cause damage to the grounds or interfere with other estate users.

All bookings must be made in advance via the online tenant dashboard, with usage limited to the allotted time selected. Event organisers are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of participants, spectators, and anyone in the vicinity of the activity. A suitable risk assessment must be carried out by the organiser prior to the event, and all activities should comply with current health and safety guidance.

Winslade Park Ltd accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of the Playing Fields. Organisers must ensure they have adequate public liability insurance and take all reasonable steps to mitigate risks associated with their event.

Organisers are also expected to ensure that activities are conducted responsibly and with respect for other tenants, estate operations, and neighbouring properties. Noise levels must be kept to a reasonable minimum, and any litter or waste must be cleared immediately following the event. Failure to comply with these terms may result in withdrawal of access to the Playing Fields and/or further action. If any external guests are coming to the site they must park in the Purple Zone.

By booking the Playing Fields, organisers confirm acceptance of these conditions and agree to take full responsibility for the management and conduct of their event.
