The Playing Fields at Winslade Park are available to tenant businesses and approved groups for informal sports, team-building activities and social events. Use should be temporary and low-impact: the space is not suitable for fixed structures, large installations or vehicle access. Gazebos and umbrellas may be used for shelter, provided they don’t damage the grounds or get in the way of other estate users.
Booking and payment: bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once payment has been received and written confirmation issued. Full payment is due before the booking date unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations: cancellations made at least 48 hours before the booking may be eligible for a full refund; later cancellations may incur a charge. Winslade Park may cancel a booking because of unsafe weather, maintenance or unforeseen circumstances, and will offer an alternative date or a refund where possible.
Timings: arrival, set-up, pack-down and departure must all happen within your booked slot. Overrunning may result in additional charges.
Use of the field: use the field only for the activity stated in your booking, treat the surface and facilities with care, and remove all your equipment straight after the event. The field must not be marked or altered without prior approval.
Safety and supervision: participants take part at their own risk. The organiser is responsible for the safety and conduct of participants and spectators, should carry out a suitable risk assessment beforehand, and must keep emergency access routes clear. Children must always be supervised by a responsible adult.
Insurance and liability: organisers must hold appropriate public liability insurance, and proof may be requested before a booking is confirmed. The organiser is responsible for any damage caused during the booking. Personal belongings are left at the owner’s risk, and Winslade Park Ltd accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage.
On site: alcohol is not permitted unless written approval has been given for a licensed event, and illegal drugs are prohibited. Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated areas. Outside food vendors need prior consent from Winslade Park. Keep noise to a reasonable level and leave the area clean, taking rubbish away or using the bins provided.
Parking: all vehicles, including those of external guests, must park in the Visitors Parking area within the Purple Zone.
Unacceptable behaviour or failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from site, termination of the booking without refund, and may affect future booking requests. By booking the Playing Fields, organisers accept the full terms and conditions and take full responsibility for the management and conduct of their event.
